About

Estonian Cello Ensemble was formed in 2014, bringing together six exciting younger generation cellists from Tallinn to express their innovative vision to larger and more diverse audiences at home and beyond.

Ensemble’s aim is to mix classical music and jazz with pop and rock tunes in a smooth arrangement of mellow and velvety cello chorus. The Estonian Cello Ensemble is offering cultural entertainment to people in all ages.

Future plans include concerts and recordings with local Estonian artists, newly commissioned pieces by Estonian composers, written especially for the Ensemble and experimenting with arrangements of folk tunes from Estonia, Finland and Spain!
